Guest Wi-Fi - Windows Computers

Overview

EC_GUEST_WIFI is a wireless connection that may be used guest mobile devices. You will register your device the first time you connect to the wireless on campus.

EC_GUEST_WIFI is a non-secure connection, and Elizabethtown College does not guarantee the privacy of your data and communication while using EC-GUEST_WIFI.
 

Basic Connection Steps
 
1. On your device, navigate to the wireless settings.
2. Make sure Wi-Fi is turned on. Select EC_GUEST_WIFI.
3. Open your web browser (Chrome, Safari, etc.) and visit http://guest.etown.edu.
4. Follow the steps on screen to create a guest account. You will receive your username and password in a text or email.
 
Instructions

Click the Wireless Network Icon in the task bar (next to the time in the bottom right-hand corner). Choose EC_GUEST_WIFI, then click Connect

After it has connected, open a web browser. 

Click Agree to accept the Acceptable Use Policy.

Click Agree There are two Guest account link options: guests with an existing account, and guests requiring a new account.

If you have already received your account information or conference code from ITS, chose the "Guests With an Existing Account" link and enter the username and password that has been provided to you.

If you do not have a username and password, choose the Guests Requiring a New Account link.

Complete the Guest Self Registration form and click Request Guest Access
Enter Information, Click Request Guest Access


You will receive a text message containing the password for guest wireless access. This password is good for 72 hours, after which you may register again for a new password.
